AI Policy
The use of AI-tools (including LLMs) for copy-editing purposes does not need to be declared. This means that AI-tools have exclusively been used to improve human-generated texts for readability and style, removing errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and tone. This means that submitted manuscripts may include formatted texts, but without any autonomous content creation or generative editorial work. Human authors are ultimately accountable for the final versionof the text, including for any formatting changes they accepted, which had been generated by AI-tools.
Peer reviewers are asked not to upload manuscripts into generative AI tools.
